Digital Marketing Manager (part-time, remote)

Job Overview Help us take our outreach efforts to the next level! We are a small, single teacher-based organization offering educational courses in Buddhism and a membership community. We are seeking a marketing manager to systematize and take ownership of our digital marketing strategy, on a part-time, remote basis. Our student base is currently small however our content library is large and reviews are outstanding. We have a lot of untapped potential for where and how to share our content. The right person will bring their experience and industry knowledge to the team and jump right to work refining our existing SEO and marketing efforts as well as collaborate on developing further strategies to grow brand awareness and the student base. We are looking for long-term, sustainable growth, done mindfully over time, rather than a single campaign bump in sales. Candidates should be interested in a long term relationship, with a small time commitment per week and the potential to increase hours over time as the business grows. Responsibilities • Improve and maintain website and YouTube SEO • Curate social media and email marketing campaigns • Use existing content to draft on-brand written, graphic and video collateral for use in campaigns • PR outreach to publications and podcasts • Support branding efforts on 3rd party apps and platforms • Analyze performance and collaborate on the evolution of our marketing strategy Experience • 1+ years experience managing social media and email marketing platforms. • Strong proficiency with SEO tools and keyword research. • Proficiency with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or similar. • Familiarity with analytics platforms and measuring campaign success. • Ability to interpret data insights into actionable strategies that improve conversion rates through optimization techniques. • Familiarity with the Dharma, or a strong desire to learn, is essential for developing an appropriate brand voice.
