Job Description
Delta Airlines is seeking highly skilled and motivated pilots to join our team. As a Delta pilot, you will be responsible for operating our fleet of aircraft, ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers, and adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and safety. You will work closely with our crew members and ground staff to deliver a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Operate aircraft in compliance with company policies, procedures, and federal regulations
Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and crew
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
Coordinate with air traffic control and ground personnel
Respond to in-flight emergencies and irregularities
Maintain accurate flight records and reports
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications
Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine and instrument ratings
Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time
FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
High level of professionalism and customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a commercial airline pilot
Type rating in specific aircraft operated by Delta Airlines
Advanced training in aviation safety and emergency procedures
Foreign language proficiency
