Data Reporting Analyst I

Under direct supervision, responsible for producing reports from various sources to provide the department /division with actionable information or business intelligence. This is an entry level position performing routine assignments. Responsibilities: • Assist in evaluating and writing utilization and cost containment reports. • Mine data from appropriate system. • Presents data and provides feedback to manager or more senior analysts. • Provide data entry in support of senior analysts. • Utilize existing standardized reports. • Seek and adopt best practices in data reporting. • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by Management. Education/Experience: • High School Diploma/GED required. • Must have at least 1 year of experience in Tableau • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related industry and experience working in data analytics and data science, including base proficiency in SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). Knowledge: • Prefer data reporting experience. • Knowledge of Healthcare Data Systems • Knowledge of Case Management Platforms • Understanding of Risk Stratifications, Predictive Modeling and Quality Metrics • Strong PC skills. • Prefer basic database management skills. Skills and Abilities: • Organizational, Multitasking, Analytical Thinking and strong Interpersonal Skills. Travel: • Some travel may be required. Horizon BCBSNJ employees must live in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut or Delaware Salary Range: $55,400 - $74,130 This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
