Data & Pricing Specialist
Maintain and regularly update pricing databases from multiple vendors, ensuring data accuracy and consistencyMonitor pricing trends, identify outdated or inconsistent data, and proactively flag discrepanciesEnsure pricing accuracy across SKUs, vendor price lists, and internal systems (ERP, CRM, inventory or e-commerce platforms)Coordinate with suppliers to gather and verify pricing updates, availability, lead times, and product specificationsStandardize, clean, and prepare incoming data files (Excel, CSV, vendor portals) for bulk upload or integration into systemsTrack cost changes, discounts, supplier-specific promotions, and maintain historical pricing logsIdentify pricing anomalies and make data-driven suggestions for pricing adjustments based on competitor and market insightsSupport onboarding of new products and suppliers by reconciling vendor data and matching SKUs across systemsPerform classification of automotive parts by category, make, model, and fitmentSupport high-volume data cleansing and mapping for pricing and product uploadsInterpret VIN (Vehicle Identification Numbers) and decode other vehicle data to verify specifications, compatibility, and product valueHard Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry, pricing analysis, or product catalog management (automotive, aftermarket parts, or manufacturing industry preferred)Strong Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills, including formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), pivot tables, and data transformationHands-on experience with ERP, PIM, or inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho, SkuVault, Fishbowl, or similar)Familiarity with automotive terminology, including make, model, year, VIN decoding, and product categorizationProven experience working with large datasets, pricing files, and supplier data feedsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, particularly for supplier follow-ups and internal reportingHighly detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of handling repetitive, data-heavy tasks with a high level of accuracyFast learner with the ability to adapt to various software tools, platforms, and technical requirementsBackground in automotive aftermarket, OEM/aftermarket parts distribution, or dealership inventory managementBasic understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerceSchedule:40 hours per weekMonday to Friday, 9AM-6PM US Eastern Standard TimeOffer and Benefits:$4-$6USD/hourHMO coverage after 1 year of employment.
