Responsibilities • Lead the design, architecture, and governance of CMDB and enterprise data platforms. • Define and implement data models, schemas, and ETL pipelines for structured and semi-structured data. • Own CMDB data accuracy, normalization, reconciliation, and relationship mapping across IT assets and services. • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning for large datasets. • Partner with ITSM, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to ensure end-to-end data integration. • Establish data quality frameworks, validation rules, and monitoring processes. • Lead root cause analysis and impact analysis using CMDB data. • Design and maintain data lineage, metadata management, and documentation. • Translate business requirements into technical data solutions and reporting models. • Drive automation and optimization of data ingestion and transformation processes. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and data engineers. • Support audits, compliance, and governance standards related to data management. Required Skills & Qualifications • 13+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Data Management roles. • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (Advanced level) including query optimization and indexing. • Extensive experience with CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow CMDB, BMC Remedy, or similar tools. • Strong knowledge of ITIL, ITSM processes, and Configuration Management practices. • Experience with data modeling (logical, physical, conceptual) and relational database design. • Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks. • Experience working with large-scale datasets and high-volume transactional systems. • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). • Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation is a plus.
