Job Summary As a Data Analyst - ServiceNow, you will be responsible for providing data analysis and insights to support the ServiceNow team. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets, create and update dashboards and reports, and communicate findings to inform decision-making. Key Responsibilities Create, review, update, and communicate dashboards and reports in collaboration with stakeholders, including the Manager, Analytics and Development, Director, Technology Performance & Planning, OIT leadership, peers, and agency stakeholders. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to inform decision-making. Create, review, update, and communicate ServiceHub and other relevant metrics in collaboration with stakeholders. Validate, filter, and "clean" data by reviewing relevant reports, metrics, and performance indicators to locate and correct data problems. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute a change strategy, including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, and adoption plans. Essential Qualifications Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Data Analyst in an Enterprise environment. Education: A degree in a related field, such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics, is preferred. Substitutions: Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. Training or certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst, including experience in soliciting requirements. Experience with ServiceNow, including hands-on performance analytics, reporting, and dashboard development. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings. Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work with complex data sets and identify trends and patterns. Experience with ServiceNow and data analysis tools. Knowledge of statistics and data modeling techniques.
