Customs & Import Attorney

The Position A well-known global technology company is seeking an experienced U.S. customs and import attorney to support its in-house trade legal team. This role will focus on advising the business on U.S. import and customs compliance matters, including HTS classification, country of origin and marking determinations, tariff analysis, and FDA and other regulatory requirements that apply at the time of import. The attorney will work closely with cross-functional partners on compliance risk assessments, program improvements, and contract provisions, and will support audits, investigations, and special projects as needed. This is a great opportunity for a trade attorney who enjoys complex, high-impact work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. ASAP start, 40 hours per week, fully remote, with an estimated duration of 12 months, with potential to extend. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $100 and $105. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
