About the position

The Customer Service Associate Representative position at Express Scripts is primarily responsible for managing customer service inquiries related to medication returns. This role involves processing returned prescriptions, conducting patient outreach, and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation. The position requires adherence to safety guidelines and involves maintaining the Clerk Room and its various functions. The selected candidate will work onsite from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm EST, and is expected to evolve into a more advanced role through goal setting and training.

Responsibilities
• Handle outbound patient calls in a polite and professional manner while adhering to department guidelines.

• Research and evaluate each return independently to determine the return type and resolution course.

• Maintain accurate documentation and system records of all returns to provide efficient service.

• Open and sort incoming mail and packing orders as required.
,
• Process Hazmat materials while protecting individual health information and following safety guidelines.
,
• Process credits within limits of authorization and forward credits for further processing.
,
• Maintain the Clerk Room and perform necessary functions within it.

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.
,
• Pharmacy Technician License highly preferred.
,
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
,
• Health insurance experience with medical insurance knowledge and terminology is preferred.
,
• Intermediate data entry skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
,
• 10 key experience required.
,
• Detail-oriented with good analytical skills.
,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels.
,
• Well organized with the ability to multitask.
,
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.

• Familiarity with medication return processes.
