Restaurant Server - Full-time Year Round
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Year-Round Restaurant Server to join our team at The Sebastian Vail. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, fostering a positive dining experience, and being a key member of our close-knit staff. Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Present menus, answer questions about the menu items, and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
• Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables and managing utensils, glassware, and condiments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to provide seamless service.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in training new staff members as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance service and overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a server in a busy restaurant environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including allergy and dietary restrictions
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
