Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented Customer Service Associate (CSA) to join our bustling store team. In this non‑exempt, front‑line role, you will be the trusted guardian of cash, the first point of contact for shoppers, and a key player in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will blend cash handling precision, store‑wide inspections, and exceptional guest service to ensure arenaflex remains the go‑to destination for quality and reliability.

Core Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

Cash Management & Transaction Accuracy

Accept cash, credit, and other forms of payment, issuing receipts, tickets, or refunds accurately.
Prepare and balance the register drawer at the start of each shift, ensuring correct change funds are in place.
Reconcile cash‑register tapes with on‑hand cash and report any discrepancies promptly.
Generate detailed transaction reports for management review.
Handle cash refunds, exchanges, and store credits while adhering to arenaflex’s money‑handling policies.

Store Inspection & Maintenance

Conduct thorough inspections of all external areas – building façade, storage structures, restrooms, dumpster zones, lawns, driveways, lighting fixtures, and signage – ensuring they meet cleanliness, safety, and accessibility standards.
Perform comprehensive inside‑store checks covering the office, sales floor, counters, coolers, equipment, merchandise displays, back‑room, and restrooms.
Identify and report maintenance issues, and collaborate with facilities teams to resolve them swiftly.

Policy & Procedure Compliance

Read, comprehend, and consistently apply guidelines from the arenaflex policy manual and training manual.
Stay updated on policy revisions and integrate new procedures into daily workflow.

Customer Interaction & Sales Support

Quote product prices, articulate key features, and answer product‑related questions with confidence.
Deliver friendly, professional service to every shopper, turning routine transactions into positive brand experiences.
Assist teammates by covering shifts when needed, ensuring staffing levels remain optimal.

Attendance & Timekeeping

Clock in at shift start, record break times, and clock out at the end of the day using the store’s time‑keeping system.
Maintain accurate attendance records in accordance with arenaflex policies.
