Experienced Senior Data Engineer – Remote Opportunity in USA for Innovative Technology Company

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Data and BI team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining ADF ETL jobs to ingest external data sources into our Snowflake Data Warehouse. You will work closely with our Product and Data Science teams to deliver data in usable formats and to the appropriate data sources. This is a remote opportunity, and we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively in a distributed team environment. Key Responsibilities Participate in Agile ceremonies to design, plan, build, test, develop, and support Openlane data products and platforms Work with product, data science, analytics, and engineering teams to learn project data needs and define project scope Design and plan data services solutions on the Data Platform Build and deliver Python/Docker feed framework data pipeline jobs and services Contribute to the Data Engineering team delivery framework, including building re-usable code, implementing industry best practices, and maintaining a common delivery framework Monitor, maintain, document, and resolve incidents related to scheduled production data jobs supporting internal and external customers' data needs Requirements for Success To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in SQL and Python development, including experience with data science packages. You should have experience planning and designing maintainable data schemas, as well as experience with Azure Cloud or AWS. Additionally, you should have experience using Github/Azure DevOps (CI/CD) and be familiar with ADF, Docker, Kubernetes, and data warehouse environments.
