Job Description
Position: Credentialing Specialist (Voice) US Medical Billing
Compensation: Depends on Experience & Qualification
Job Type: Full Time, 8 hour shift with overlapping time with PST (California Time zone)
Location: Chennai, TN (Work from Office)
Start Date: ASAP
Experience: 4 years +
Industry: Healthcare - Health Services
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining relationships with key directors and managers at IPAs and medical groups.
Acquiring new insurance contracts for physician/medical group clients.
Renegotiating contract rates for physician/medical group clients.
Familiar with contracting terms and definitions..i.e. LOAs. MOUs, LOIs
Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD 9
Possess superior organizational skills
Previous experience working with contract regulations for managed care.
Excellent Customer Service experience dealing with Provider Relations departments.
Voice experience is MUST with very good communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of experience in Insurance Contracting & Credentialing (Voice required)
Experience with obtaining insurance/IPA contracts. (required)
2 years of experience with US based Health plans/IPA's (required)
