Join M&T Bank’s 10-week Corporate Summer Internship Program in Banking Operations, Retail Servicing, gaining hands-on experience and professional development in a hybrid role based in Buffalo, NY. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Completing entry-level professional duties specific to assigned area within Retail Servicing, which includes Credit Bureau Research & Data Management, Customer Support, Escrow, Print Services & New Loans, Mortgage Payments & Maintenance, Investor Reporting, Specialized Servicing & Support, Retail Closing, and Retail Collateral Management • Ensuring activities comply with internal policies and external regulations • Understanding and adhering to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls • Identifying and escalating risk-related issues to management • Designing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing internal controls to mitigate risk • Promoting an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand • Maintaining internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and addressing issues raised by external regulators • Completing other related duties as assigned About YouThe company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated computer skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Work visa sponsorship is not offered for this roleCompensation & Benefits • Pay range of $18.00 - $28.00 per hour, dependent on knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location Training & Development Interns participate in professional development, career growth initiatives, and gain exposure to other departments through guest speakers and industry leaders, building a network with peers.Career Progression Interns receive priority consideration for full-time opportunities throughout M&T Bank following the internship.
