Corporate Re-engineering Intern
Position Description

We are excited to offer a student internship with our Corporate Re-engineering team during the summer.
We seek highly motivated, creative individuals from diverse backgrounds with exceptional academic credentials and personal achievements who are enrolled in an undergraduate or advanced degree program.
Paid internship positions are available at our corporate office in Harrisburg.
Interns will participate in various experiences through meaningful work assignments, observation opportunities, and social interactions.
In line with Capital Blue Cross's values, interns will have the opportunity to complete a service project with one of our community partners.
Interns will contribute to ongoing company initiatives and translate their classroom knowledge into innovative ideas that benefit our colleagues, members, and communities.
Interns will present their experience outcomes and share their unique perspective with our executive and leadership teams.
To support interns' growth, Capital team members will provide regular feedback and professional development programming.
The internship program offers formal and informal networking opportunities with Capital staff and participation in company-wide learning events.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Industrial Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Ability to commit full-time to an 11-13 week program from May 20 to August 16.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Teamwork and multitasking abilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to an onsite or hybrid work schedule.
Location:
This position is classified as hybrid, requiring onsite work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
