Copy and Content Editor for Dog Training Book
I'm looking for someone with excellent English and literary skills to edit the content and copy edit my book.
The book has already been through a couple of self-editing phases but this is the final edit before the book will be published on Amazon in six weeks...
It is an informal dog training book that teaches the methods and secrets of professional dog trainers. It is funny, crass and one part memior, one part "how to" and one part training guide.
As far as the editing goes, I'm on a short deadline so I need someone who can work quickly and focus attention on this project for the next 6 weeks.
I need the content and copy edits completed by November 31st.
The book is 45000 words, 10 chapters with a brief introduction and afterward.
I'm looking for someone with editing experience and interest in this type of book. It is a conscious choice to use an informal tone.
Please be prepared to do a short sample edit (of about 3 pages) too.
I'm working on this book with three others in the series in the works and I would like to hold a relationship with an editor, so this will be great exposure for you and your work.
