We partner with agencies and grant-funded programs to execute initiatives efficiently, compliantly, and with measurable outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Government Contracts & Grants Specialist to support opportunity identification, proposal development, and submission for government contracts and grant-funded programs aligned to our service offerings. This is a contract, performance-based role ideal for someone who understands public-sector funding ecosystems and prefers flexibility while contributing directly to revenue growth. This role is performance-based. Compensation is earned through commission and/or success-based fees tied to awarded contracts and grants. There is no base salary at this time. Details will be discussed with qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities Opportunity Identification & Strategy Identify local, state, and federal contract and grant opportunities aligned with our services Evaluate alignment with organizational capacity and delivery readiness Support pipeline tracking and funding strategy development Proposal & Application Development Lead or support development of: Grant applications RFP/RFQ/RFP responses Statements of Work and narratives Collaborate with leadership to ensure proposals align with scope, compliance, and outcomes Compliance & Submission Ensure submissions meet all technical, administrative, and deadline requirements Coordinate required documentation (certifications, forms, attachments) Support post-submission follow-ups as needed Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with leadership and operations to align funding pursuits with execution capacity Provide basic reporting on submissions, pipeline status, and wins Focus Areas You’ll Support This role will primarily pursue funding aligned to: Program & Event Delivery for Agencies (summits, conferences, workshops, outreach initiatives) Operational & Administrative Support for grant-funded or agency programs Strategic Communications & Digital (outreach, engagement, reporting infrastructure) Qualifications Proven experience with government contracts, grants, or both Familiarity with local, state, or federal procurement and funding processes Strong proposal writing and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment Experience working with HUB, minority-owned, or small businesses is a plus Ideal Candidate Profile This role is a strong fit if you: Understand public-sector funding cycles Prefer performance-based compensation Are comfortable working collaboratively without micromanagement Value alignment, clarity, and execution over volume Workplace Type Remote Job Type Contract / Performance-Based This role is not suitable for entry-level applicants or those seeking guaranteed salary compensation.
