About the Role & Team

As a Construction Project Scheduler - Facility Asset Management, you will be an integral part of our project management team, responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules for assigned programs. You will work closely with project representatives, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and timely project delivery. Your primary objective will be to develop and manage detailed project schedules, analyze contractor schedule submittals, and provide expert advice to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:


Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create and maintain project schedules for assigned programs, incorporating all disciplines, contractors, and client activities.
Communicate Schedule Status: Communicate schedule status with project representatives throughout the project life cycle, ensuring timely and accurate information.
Support Strategic Planning: Support project teams in strategic planning and scheduling sessions, providing expert advice and guidance.
Analyze Contractor Schedules: Analyze contractor schedule submittals for completeness and accuracy, identifying potential issues and areas for improvement.
Manage Relationships: Build and maintain key relationships with core team members, clients, and contractors, influencing partners to make informed decisions.
Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards, maintaining accurate records and reports.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Basic Knowledge: Basic knowledge of construction and project management processes, including construction sequencing and Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:


Industry Experience: Two years of experience in the commercial facilities construction industry, preferably in a scheduling or project management role.
Scheduling Software: Experience using scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Project Management: Experience managing multiple construction project schedules and analyzing contractor schedule submittals.
