Construction Performance Engineer
DEPCOM Power, a Koch company, is seeking a Construction Performance Engineer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with extensive travel. The role involves supporting the construction of utility-scale solar PV plants by analyzing project data, ensuring quality control, and assisting with various project management tasks. Responsibilities Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel Quality assurance and quality control of project data Generating daily reports regarding project metrics and work completion Assist with the setup of progress tracking tools Assist with quantity take-offs based on engineering documents Track labor productivity and installation rates for self-perform and subcontracted scopes of work Train field staff on Earned Value Management, productivity, and progress tracking Support project staff with tracking of Subcontracted and Self-Perform scopes of work progress tracking Analysis of various construction installation processes to identify opportunities to optimize (Time Studies, Lean Walks etc.) Skills Experience in construction and/or project controls, estimating, scheduling, or project management experience Strong experience in complex data analysis via tools like MS Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables and Macros Valid U.S. driver's license Experience in the renewable energy or utility-scale construction industry Demonstrated experience in applying Earned Value Management techniques to monitor, analyze, and control project cost and schedule performance Experience in Field Engineering (Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or other related construction position) Experience with software such as Procore, P6, PowerBI, SmartSheets, InEight, Heavy Job or other related software Benefits Medical Dental Vision Flexible spending and health savings accounts Life insurance ADD Disability Retirement Paid vacation/time off Educational assistance Infertility assistance Paid parental leave Adoption assistance Company Overview Based in Wichita, Kansas, Koch is one of the largest private companies in America.
