SAP RTR – Record to Report Analyst
Job Description: • Manage and oversee the entire Record to Report process within SAP, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial closing activities, and reporting. • Lead the design and implementation of SAP RTR solutions, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and organizational policies while enhancing operational efficiency. • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to support strategic decision-making, generating reports and dashboards that provide insights into financial performance.• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls related to the RTR process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing risks. • Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to align on business requirements, streamline processes, and integrate systems effectively. • Direct the configuration and customization of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) components to enhance RTR functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with related modules. • Ensure high levels of data accuracy and integrity within the RTR process by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to finance teams on SAP RTR functionalities, promoting best practices and effective utilization of the system. • Serve as a subject matter expert, addressing system-related issues and implementing solutions to optimize RTR processes. • Manage projects related to RTR improvements, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with budget constraints, and alignment with strategic objectives. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.• 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles with solid experience in SAP RTR processes and functionalities. • Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and RTR best practices. • Advanced degree (MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred. • Proficiency in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. • Experience with financial closing processes and reporting tools, including dashboards and financial analysis software.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
