Qualifications: Litigation: A strong track record and experience in handling a broad range of litigation cases. Legal Knowledge: Expertise in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury cases. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to practice in Texas is required. 8+ years of defense litigation experience , ideally in areas such as: General liability Personal injury Transportation litigation Catastrophic injury Strong written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively. Client-facing experience is highly preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where initiative and accountability are valued. Legal project management experience is a plus, though not required. Responsibilities: As a Complex Litigation Attorney, you'll take on a wide range of responsibilities that will challenge and grow your legal expertise. Your role will include: Managing a litigation caseload independently , from inception through resolution. Handling all aspects of litigation , including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, and depositions. Collaborating with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and execution. Communicating directly with clients , providing updates, legal analysis, and strategic recommendations. Participating in trial preparation , including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and trial strategy sessions. Engaging in legal research and drafting of complex motions and memoranda. Contributing to a team-oriented environment that values innovation, efficiency, and excellence.
