Zantech is looking for a Communication Strategist to contribute to the success of our Business Process Improvement and Management Support Services project for an upcoming Hybrid role based out of the Washington DC Metro area. The Communication Strategist will develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies for USCIS Business Process Improvement and Management Support Services. Support organizational change management initiatives and ensure effective stakeholder engagement across VER and FOD directorates to facilitate successful project implementation and adoption. Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: β€’ Develop change management strategies for business process transitions β€’ Develop and execute comprehensive management strategies, including communication plans, training, and phased deployment approaches β€’ Support workforce training and stakeholder engagement β€’ Develop and execute communication strategies with clearly defined target audiences, key messages, and delivery channels β€’ Ensure all communications adhere to Plain Language guidelines and 508 compliance standards β€’ Develop communication strategies aligned with VER, FOD, USCIS, and DHS priorities β€’ Advise PMs and POs regarding messages for target audiences, including defining specific messages, identifying most effective avenues, and optimizing the timing and sequencing of key outreach and activities β€’ Facilitate stakeholder engagement, awareness campaigns, and training sessions β€’ Leverage Prosci, lean Agile, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies for change adoption β€’ Implement feedback and continuous improvement around change management and adoption, including use of retrospectives, surveys and survey data, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) β€’ Leverage best practices and leading technologies (i.e., Infographics, the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite of products, Mural, etc.) to develop innovative communications products Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions: β€’ Minimum of 7 years of experience developing and executing strategies for federal programs β€’ Demonstrated expertise in executive-level communications, messaging frameworks, and stakeholder engagement β€’ Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives β€’ Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills tailored for diverse audiences β€’ Ability to coordinate across functional teams to ensure clear, consistent messaging Required Education/Certifications: β€’ Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field Preferred Education/Certifications: β€’ Prosci Change Management Certification or similar professional certification Required Security Clearance: β€’ US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DHS background investigations or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
