Clinical Sales Specialist - Ontario, Canada (Field Based)

The Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) will work in conjunction with the Territory Manager, Inside Sales team and Reimbursement team to meet the commercial and clinical needs in their territory for the purpose of increasing referrals and supporting customers on product.Responsibilities: Promotes the benefits of insulin pump therapy and sells Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers and patients in group and/or individual sessions or as a continuing education offering.Works in conjunction with Territory Manager and Inside Sales to achieve sales goals.Supports and develops Key Account clinical expertise as well as records calls in Salesforce.Dedicated to providing exceptional training and support to individuals initiating Omnipod System therapy.Will deliver virtual training sessions through platforms such as Webex, Teams, and Zoom. Enhances training outcomes by grouping participants into targeted training sessions based on their current insulin delivery method. Is knowledgeable in, and utilizes clinical evidence to support customer discussionsEvaluates and recommends Certified Pod Trainers (CPTs) and Trainer CPTs who wish to become consultant CPTs for Insulet Corporation.Assigns patient training to CPTs or conducts patient training based on business needs of territory, oversees costs of training and timeliness of training.Assists with providing regular product demos to patients and HCPs.Assists with sales events such as pump clinics, pump support groups, info sessions, in-office educational events, patient info nights, JDRF walks, vendor days, etc.Oversees CPTs by seeing them face-to-face and by providing timely product updates and by acting as a clinical resource.Supports CPEs (certified Pod Educator) and coordinate with clinicsProvides Field Feedback to Manager on field-based training of customers and HCPs.Shows ability to perform administrative duties and turn in on a timely basis.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and Competencies:Professional and polished presentation skills.Demonstrates agility and excels in structured planningStrong interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written.Self-motivated and adaptable, with strong business acumen.Strong contributing member of the commercial team.Credibility and contacts within the diabetes community.Education and Experience:Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree2 years’ experience training and/or managing pump patients.Professional up to date credentials and/or certifications are mandatory: i.e. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDEs), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN)Must reside within the assigned Eastern Ontario geographic territory which is between Kingston and Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. This position requires regular business travel, mostly by car within a set geographic region, Ideal residency location between Kingston and Scarborough, Ontario, CanadaValid driver’s license required. Preferred:Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)Prior industry/commercial experiencePhysical Requirements:Overnight travel and amount of air travel varies by territoryAbility to lift, carry and transport up to 30 lbs., professional sales samples and literature.NOTE: This position requires field-based working arrangements (travel within assigned territory required). #LI-Remote
