Virtual School Psychologist - North Carolina
A contracted position is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services within an educational setting located in Raleigh, NC. This role requires the ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, develop intervention plans, and offer counseling support to students via remote platforms. The position supports the academic, emotional, and social development of students by collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting psychological evaluations to identify student needs and learning challenges
ā¢ Delivering telehealth counseling and support services to students remotely
ā¢ Collaborating with school staff and families to develop effective intervention strategies
ā¢ Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
ā¢ Providing crisis intervention and consultation as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
ā¢ Valid license issued by the State Board of Psychology required for contracted school psychologists
ā¢ Strong understanding of telehealth technologies and best practices in virtual psychological service delivery
ā¢ Experience working within educational systems, preferably with K-12 students
ā¢ Ability to assess and interpret psychological testing and data effectively
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students and school personnel remotely
