What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with frontline caregivers and branch leadership on documentation and make recommendations for changes
- Complete workflow tasks and other assignments in the EMR system
- Edit and lock OASIS to assist in timely billing submission
- Assign diagnoses and codes according to coding guidelines and conventions
- Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current RN License
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum of five years working as a Registered Nurse in home health
- Working knowledge of Medicare payment and reimbursement guidelines
- Knowledge of medical terminology and home health coding
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of OASIS E and coding conventions
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience in a collaborative healthcare environment
