About The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and creative Chemistry Author to develop engaging, standards-aligned content for the NGLS Chemistry Workbook. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced chemistry educator or content creator who is passionate about making science accessible, rigorous, and student-centered.
As a Chemistry Author, you will play a key role in shaping high-quality instructional materials that support student success in chemistry courses.
Duties
ā¢ Write and develop a chemistry workbook content aligned to NGLS standards
ā¢ Create clear explanations, practice problems, and real-world application activities
ā¢ Collaborate with editors and curriculum designers to refine content
ā¢ Review and revise materials based on feedback
ā¢ Ensure scientific accuracy
Requirements
ā¢ Strong understanding of NGLS or similar science standards
ā¢ Experience teaching high school or introductory college-level chemistry
ā¢ Exceptional writing and communication skills
ā¢ Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
