Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care by responding to their medication needs via phone or messaging, ensuring timely and effective communication. Address billing issues by preparing and submitting third-party insurance claims, demonstrating a strong understanding of pharmacy billing processes. Troubleshoot complex pharmacy cases, utilizing your expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently. Deliver extraordinary customer service by handling patient escalations with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate closely with doctors' offices to manage refill requests, prior authorizations, and coverage determinations, ensuring seamless coordination of care. Essential Qualifications & Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A High School Diploma or equivalent, providing a solid foundation for your career in pharmacy services. 1+ year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), demonstrating your expertise in pharmacy operations and patient care. 1+ year of experience in Pharmacy Billing, showcasing your ability to navigate complex billing processes and insurance claims. 1+ year of experience in Customer Service, highlighting your ability to provide exceptional care and support to patients. An active CPhT license in good standing with the Texas Board of Pharmacy, ensuring you're qualified to practice in the state of Texas. Nice to Have Skills While not essential, the following skills can give you a competitive edge: Fertility Pharmacy experience, demonstrating your knowledge of specialized pharmacy services. Prior remote work experience, showcasing your ability to work independently and effectively in a virtual setting. Macbook/Apple product experience, highlighting your technical skills and adaptability.
