Medical coder with Billing experience to join our team. Individual must have 2 years office experience. Person will need to be extremely detail oriented. Reliability and punctuality is crucial. CPC or CPC-A is required. Job Duties will entail but not limited to: Following all HIPAA regulations, Coding charges from chart notes, reviewing codes for accuracy, applying modifiers to CPT Codes, Correct usage of ICD10 codes, understanding coding rules, Reviewing charts for medical necessity, Posting Charges to the system for transmission of claims, answering patient questions or concerns on insurance processing, Ability to understand all of the insurance rules, regulations, and policies. All other duties as assigned. Position is Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm. Job Type: • Full-time 8 hour shift. • Monday to Friday. Education: • Associates Degree, Bachelor's degree of equivalent. • Coding Certification • Billing Certification Experience: • Office experience: 2 years. (Required) • Medical office experience: 2 years. (Required) • Medical coding: 2 years. (Preferred) License/Certification: • Certified Professional Coder.
