Experienced Loan Processor (Mortgage / Private Lending)

Job Overview As a Loan Processor, you will be the engine that keeps our lending operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for managing loan files from application to closing, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and fully compliant with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities • Manage the Pipeline: Oversee a pipeline of loan files, ensuring timely movement from application through underwriting and clear-to-close. • Document Collection & Verification: Gather, review, and verify all necessary loan documentation, including income, assets, credit reports, and appraisals. • System Management: Accurately input, update, and manage loan data within our Loan Origination System (LOS). • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between Loan Officers, underwriters, borrowers, and third-party vendors (title companies, appraisers). • Compliance: Ensure all loan files comply with company policies, investor guidelines, and state/federal lending regulations. • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or missing information in loan files to prevent delays. Required Qualifications • Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Loan Processor specifically within mortgage or private lending. • Tech Savvy: Hands-on, working experience with a Loan Origination System (LOS) (e.g., BLN, LendingWise Encompass, Calyx Point, LendingPad, or similar). • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing financial documents. • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly to borrowers. • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple files simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) • Deep understanding of [specific loan products, e.g., DSCR, Ground Up Construction, Commercial, Fix & Flip, and Bridge loans]. • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
