As a Carrier Payable Specialist you will: Responsible for... paying and keeping record of all invoices Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy Collaborating with co-workers to resolve complex payable issues Keeping an eye out for accounting irregularities and providing possible solutions Managing aging reports to ensure items are cleared and handled accordingly Track discrepancies and ensure corrections are completed timely to allow payments to process Maintain precise records of all carrier payments Research and approve new carrier and create new carrier accounts Ability to process payments via check/ACH timely as well as requesting banking info from new carriers Our future colleague. We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: Bachelor’s Degree preferred Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Account Payables Working knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable principles. Strong computer skills, with focus in knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Adobe. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detailed-oriented, accurate with data input and have math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. You must be a Team player and Self Motivated. Willing to help other team members when needed. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Accurate and timely reconciliation of carrier statements and/or individual carrier invoices. Research discrepancies and work with internal Account Managers and/or carrier contacts to determine corrective action needed.
