Billing Specialist II; Experienced​/Remote​/Michigan Residents

Position: Billing Specialist II (Experienced) Full Time/Remote/Michigan Residents only What to Expect Job Responsibilities: • Manage accounts receivable for the employer's insurance accounts, ensuring compliance with established policies • Verify the accuracy and completeness of patient financial, insurance, and demographic information • Resolve problem accounts resulting from payer denials and follow up on claims needing responses • Handle billing and collection of payments for hospitals, outpatient clinics, and employed physicians within the employer • Prioritize workflow to meet third-party payer requirements effectively What is Required • High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum of two years of experience in an office environment or healthcare-related field • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workflow • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management • Ability to work independently How to Stand Out • Prior experience in a healthcare revenue cycle position • Knowledge of medical terminology • Familiarity with CPT/HCPCS revenue codes • College coursework in accounting, business, or healthcare administration #Healthcare Services #Revenue Cycle Management #Career Opportunity #Billing #Patient Care We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
