As our Fractional Controller, you'll be a key strategic partner to the ownership team—helping to guide our growth with accuracy, insight, and integrity, while providing financial counsel and ensuring scalable operations across 1–10 franchise locations. As we expand across multiple markets, we’re looking for an experienced Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight & Reporting
•Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role within finance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial concepts, management practices, and governmental accounting standards.
• Excellent financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices.
• Analyze monthly metrics: EBITDA margins, membership growth, churn rates—with clubs typically hitting 300–1000+ in membership
• Create budgets, forecasts, and scenario-based models for expansion & capex (20k–50k sq/ft facilities: construction/operational expenses/etc)
• Manage cash flow forecasting and daily cash management
• Collaborate with our bookkeeping company that handles payroll and AR/AP
• Advise on funding strategies and capital allocation for sensible scaling
• Oversee budget creation, variance analysis, and financial projections
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lease agreements, tenant improvement (TI) allowances, and franchise financial structures (if applicable)
Strategic & Operational Finance
• Partner with leadership on financial planning and investment strategy
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to track unit-level and company-wide performance
• Support due diligence, modeling, and reporting related to new club openings and acquisitions
• Monitor and analyze financial trends across all clubs
Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Coordinate external tax filings and annual audits
• Report to limited investor base

Ideal Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles
• Multi-unit, franchise, or membership-based revenue model experience is a plus
• Financial modeling & analytical excellence
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Exceptional communication—ready to advise owners and support growth
