Job Description: We are seeking a Bank Loan Services Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customers business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (onsite 3 days remote 2 days/week) in Downers Grove, IL or Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
Daily reconciliation of cash and positions by established deadlines.
Research issues utilizing internal systems, agent notification, publicly available information, and Trustee records.
Liaison with trustees and agent banks to resolve cash discrepancies.
Initiate communication to escalate issues as needed.
Track issue resolution, perform root cause analysis, and identify controls gaps.
Partner with team members to complete internal tasks.
Document process requirements.
Perform other projects or duties when needed.
Provide backup to other team members.
Qualifications:
BA/BS required
2+ years of work experience post-graduation.
Solid understanding of the broadly syndicated loan market is required.
Wall Street Office (WSO) knowledge is required.
Background in accounting/finance preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel is required.
Good verbal, written, and analytical skills.
Aptitude for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Good quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
Ability to work independently and follow through on projects.
Creative problem solver willing to tackle difficult puzzles.
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
Organizational skills necessary to meet deadlines and prioritize projects.
