You will work on cutting-edge mobile outdoor robotics projects, facilitating cloud connectivity and real-time command and control between C3, our mobile control app, and our advanced autonomous vehicles utilizing various AWS APIs and Services. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and debugging changes to our cloud infrastructure and mobile app/device side APIs. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from working on released/prototype software to planning new architectural roadmaps, feature concepts, design, testing, and deployment. This is a contract role with the option to work 100% remote or hybrid at our location Arvada, CO alongside both on-site and remote developers. This is a high-impact and high-reward position as you will be working with real autonomous vehicles and cutting-edge hardware and software technologies daily. Basic Skills & Qualifications: • Proficiency in developing, debugging, and deploying the latest AWS APIs and Services (IOT, Storage, database, compute, real-time & bulk video/data streaming, front-end web/mobile, AI, etc) • Proficiency in C++, Javascript, and real-time system/resource/networking • Working understanding of local/cloud AI, Neural Networks is a plus • Proficiency in ROS2, Sim Environment setup and management is a plus • Experience with version control using GitHub • Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and real-time performance optimization • Understanding of security best practices and data protection • Ability to adapt to different platforms, learn new technologies quickly, and work independently or as part of a team with excellent communication skills COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: AWS Solutions Architect: $30-$100 per hour. Actual level and hourly salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, and location.
