Role: AWS Data EngineerLocation: RemoteWe are looking for a Data Engineer with 12+ years of experience in AWS, DBT, Databricks, SQL, and Python to build and optimize scalable data pipelines. This role involves working with large datasets, implementing ETL processes, and ensuring efficient data transformation.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using DBT and Databricks.Optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.Work with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) to manage cloud-based data solutions.Write clean, efficient Python scripts for automation and data transformation.Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all pipelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics and reporting needs.Must-Have Skills:12+ years of experience in IT industryStrong experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).Hands-on expertise with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.Proficiency in Databricks for big data processing and analytics.Advanced knowledge of SQL for database management and query optimization.Experience with Python for scripting and automation.Nice-to-Have Skills:Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data deployment.Experience with Kafka or other data streaming tools.Familiarity with Airflow for workflow orchestration.Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
