Audiologist School Audiologist - Helotes, Texas

A rewarding audiology opportunity is available in the San Antonio, TX area, primarily serving the Mission Academy with additional districtwide student support. This contract position requires a dedicated audiologist to provide specialized services within a school setting, working approximately 15 to 20 hours per week. Preferred working days are Wednesdays and Thursdays, with an anticipated assignment duration through May 29, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Administer audiological evaluations and services to students across assigned schools.
β€’ Conduct hearing aid fitting, maintenance, and repair under state licensure guidelines.
β€’ Collaborate with itinerant teachers to troubleshoot and support districtwide students.
β€’ Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school district policies.

Qualifications:
β€’ Master’s degree in Audiology.
β€’ Minimum of 5 years experience in school settings or equivalent.
β€’ ASHA certification (waiver available for ASHA-certified professionals).
β€’ State licenses to practice audiology and fit/repair hearing aids.
β€’ Successful passage of relevant audiology examinations.
β€’ Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.

Location:
San Antonio, TX area, primarily on-site at Mission Academy and other district locations as needed.
