Senior SAP OTC Functional Lead S/4HANA Migration SAP S/4HANA OTC Functional Data Lead Order to Cash/Make to Cash 100% Remote India Job Duration: 12 Months Project Context: Client is undergoing global transformation projects requiring SAP ECC SAP S/4HANA migration. This is a greenfield S/4HANA implementation across multiple business processes (RTR, PTD, PLM, STP, OTC). Role Purpose: Act as the bridge between business process owners, SAP functional teams, and the data enablement organization. Ensure data is standardized, governed, fit-for-purpose, and supports successful process design, system build, migration, and adoption. Key Responsibilities • Data Enablement & Solution Design • Define data requirements aligned to standardized value stream processes. • Translate business process designs into master and transactional data definitions for S/4HANA. • Support template design ensuring consistent data models and hierarchies across regions. • Validate data readiness for end-to-end process execution (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return). • Functional Process Data Ownership • Define data objects, attributes, and mandatory fields. • Support business rules, validations, and derivations. • Align data structures to SAP best practices and industry standards. • Data Migration & Readiness • Support data cleansing, enrichment, and harmonization activities. • Define and validate data mapping from legacy systems to S/4HANA. • Participate in mock conversions, data loads, and reconciliation. • Ensure data quality thresholds are met before cutover. • Data Governance & Standards • Help establish/enforce global data standards and policies. • Collaborate with Master Data and Data Governance teams. • Define roles, ownership, and stewardship for value stream data. • Contribute to data quality monitoring and remediation processes. • Testing, Cutover & Hypercare • Support functional and integrated testing with a focus on data accuracy. • Validate business scenarios using migrated/created data. • Support cutover planning/execution from a data perspective. • Provide post-go-live support and stabilization. Required Qualifications Experience: • 10+ years SAP functional experience with strong data focus. • Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience (greenfield preferred). • Large-scale, global ERP implementation experience. • Deep understanding of value stream business processes and related data objects. • Experience in data migration, cleansing, and validation. Technical Skills: • Knowledge of SAP master data objects (Material, Vendor/Business Partner, BOM, Routings, Pricing, Customer, etc.). • Understanding of S/4HANA data model changes vs. ECC. • Experience with SAP MDG or similar governance tools preferred. • Familiarity with data migration tools (SAP Migration Cockpit, LVM, ETL tools). • Ability to read and interpret functional specs and data models. Soft Skills: • Strong stakeholder management and communication. • Comfortable with global, cross-functional teams. • Detail-oriented, analytical, problem-solving. • Able to work in fast-paced transformation environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in manufacturing, building materials, or asset-intensive industries. • Prior Functional Data Lead or Data Domain Lead role. • Experience defining global templates and harmonized data models. • Knowledge of data quality tools and metrics. Additional Notes • This system is highly customized; ramp-up will take time. • Strong SAP knowledge is critical-must understand fields and their usage. • Knowledge of master data is less critical; focus is on OTC/A/R data, pricing, customers, and pricing tables. • Must have recent SAP experience .
