Associate, Research & Sample Strategy

The Associate, Research & Sample Strategy will manage various internal research initiatives, facilitate daily operations, and work cross-functionally to align research projects with business objectives.ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with some of the world's leading experts in survey methodology to understand project objectives, create timelines and manage the execution of initiatives within the Research Operations & Analytics groupCollaborating on research operations, building systems and processes to field incoming requests, prioritizing individual tasks and tracking project progressMaintaining and scaling project management databases to help drive efficiencyCreating and maintaining documentation, memos and project reports for internal and external audiencesPerforming such other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company’s discretionSkillsBA/MA in a social science — communication, psychology, political science, economics or a related field1-2+ years of experience in survey research, project management or a similar roleExperience with data analytics and/or survey methodology a plusDemonstrated curiosity about AI tools (i.e., ChatGPT, Claude) and experience leveraging them to improve research workflows, documentation, analysis, or operational efficiencyStrong project management skills, ability to oversee multiple projects in parallel and take initiative on projectsExperience with lean or agile project management; experience with Asana or Jira a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt to the audience to translate findings into digestible and actionable insightsExperience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google SheetsComfort working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environmentLow ego, consummate team player; comfortable working across departments and job levelsWilling to take feedback, learn and grow; an ethos of continuous self-improvementBenefitsEquity grantCompany OverviewMorning Consult is a global decision intelligence company changing how modern leaders make smarter, faster, and better decisions.
