About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst. As a key member of our Geographic Data group, you will play a vital role in creating geographic data for assigned areas, designing computer-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local dealmakers. Key Responsibilities Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned areas using MapInfo, as requested by regional dealmakers. Process requests and orders directly from blithequark activities for market strategy guides and display materials. Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including research and representation of data as assigned. Provide administrative support to regional dealmakers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative requirements as needed. Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, greeting office visitors, mail handling and preparation, ensuring all office equipment is functioning properly, and ordering office supplies. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related discipline. General knowledge of geographic information systems and data analysis techniques. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with MapInfo or other geographic information systems software. Previous work experience in a related field, such as geographic data analysis, market research, or a similar discipline. Advanced skills in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization.
