Position Overview: Associate Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities
As an integral part of the IT InfoSec Organization Security Team, you will be responsible for the following key areas:
Infrastructure Security Support
Provide IT support to secure internal, partner, vendor, and external connectivity to arenaflex and tenant applications across multiple critical data center infrastructures
Support firewall hardware and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, preventative maintenance, and break/fix services in data center critical infrastructure
Manage and maintain server infrastructure both on-premises and in cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
Support airport operations mobile connectivity solutions, including NetMotion, hardware, and software maintenance
Enterprise Access Security
Provide IT support for Enterprise Remote Access Clients to align client edge security technology with client-managed workstations
Utilize advanced technologies such as Application ID and User ID for granular user identification and access control
Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect against unauthorized access
Collaborate with the cloud service provider to ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and security standards are maintained
Policy and Compliance Management
Coordinate with business divisions through consulting services responsible for firewall policies and access control direction
Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, regulations, and procedures
Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations, changes, and procedures
Incident Response and Support
Provide functional on-call support of critical offices and infrastructure components for Network Security
Support the IT Data Security Division in maintaining the integrity and business continuity of enterprise data and applications
Investigate and resolve issues related to managed security machines and their integration with various systems
Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
Project Management
Manage data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements
Ensure best product and service pricing from vendors
Verify that vendors meet their contractual obligations
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from an accredited institution
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols
Cloud Security: Knowledge of cloud networking and security principles is preferred
System Administration: Experience with server infrastructure management, both on-premises and in cloud environments
Security Monitoring: Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing security logs and events to identify potential threats
