PayFlow Systems, a leading provider of innovative payroll solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Online Payroll Specialist to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. Key Responsibilities
• Process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain and update payroll records, including wages, benefits, deductions, and tax information.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other related documentation.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Respond promptly to payroll inquiries from employees and management.
• Stay updated with the latest payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary payroll documentation when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems, processes, and legal compliance.
• Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, Paychex, or equivalent).
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in payroll management or a related finance/HR role.
• Experience with remote payroll processing or online payroll systems is highly preferred.
Working Hours
• Flexible remote schedule, typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local time).
• Occasional extended hours during payroll cycles or audit periods may be required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable with digital communication tools and remote collaboration platforms.
