Associate, Development
AIPAC is a mission-driven organization focused on development initiatives, and they are seeking a Development Associate to support donor relations and project execution. The role involves managing multiple priorities and collaborating with senior development staff and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of development initiatives.ResponsibilitiesSend donor correspondence including acknowledgements, recognition letters, invoices, and other communicationsGenerate detailed donor reportsPrepare and distribute email marketing messages to donor and prospect audiencesPerform ongoing database updates, data clean‑up, and manual lookups to ensure data integrity and accuracyCreate data sets for analysis and assist with reporting and basic analysis needs across the departmentProvide support for virtual and in‑person events, including registration and reportingAssist the Senior Development team in executing national development campaigns, AIPAC Congressional Summit initiatives, missions, and other major programsCollaborate across departments to enhance communication, workflow, and stakeholder satisfactionSupport additional development department tasks as assignedContribute to planning and preparation for AIPAC events, both virtual and in‑personProvide logistical support including materials preparation, communications, and coordination with designers and print vendorsProofread and edit publications; manage print production and interface with internal and external designersProvide administrative support to the Senior Development teamAssist the Senior Development and Endowment Associate with gift processing, adjustments, and acknowledgementsPrepare expense reports, reimbursements, and departmental purchasesAssist with general departmental operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completionSkills1-3 years of experience in development, project management, or nonprofit operationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHigh technical proficiency, including CRM/database systems, email marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment, with different teams and stakeholdersBenefitsCompetitive and comprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewAIPAC is an American lobby for the independence of the Israeli state.
