Associate AI Developer Intern - Winter Internship

As an Associate AI Developer Intern, you will collaborate with the development team to build innovative AI features and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Artificial Intelligence. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with experienced engineers and developer relations to contribute to the development of AI-powered capabilities and products Assist in the design, build, testing, and deployment of AI software components, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), data pipelines, similarity search, and agentic workflows Gain practical experience utilizing a range of open-source and proprietary AI tools and solutions such as Hugging Face, Vector and Graph Databases, Langchain, PyTorch, and more Work within an agile development environment to deliver value iteratively and with a focus on high quality Contribute to building and enhancing our AI use case solutions to enable users to gain deeper insights and achieve more with their unstructured data Develop a foundational understanding of the Aparavi tech stack, key use cases, unique selling propositions (USP), and our customer base Assist with local AI Tech Events Skills Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science with a strong interest or focus on Generative AI and/or Machine Learning Some knowledge and coursework related to Large Language Models, generative AI applications, and/or agentic AI concepts A foundational understanding of programming concepts, ideally with some exposure to languages like Python or C++ A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about emerging AI methodologies and tools A genuine passion for staying informed about the latest advancements in the field of Artificial Intelligence Basic familiarity with operating systems and common networking protocols is a plus A willingness to embrace a growth mindset and contribute to end-to-end product thinking Benefits Hybrid office/remote days Flexible hours Fun outings Great downtown SF location Company Overview Aparavi empowers organizations to know their data to mitigate risk, reduce cost and exploit data value all through single dashboard It was founded in 2017, and is headquartered in Santa Monica, California, USA, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
