JOB TITLE: Assistant VP, Product Mgmt. & Dev., Salesforce Technology

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker*

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Street Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Responsible for the implementation and development of Salesforce solutions that contribute to revenue generated through all retail and contact center sales channels. Design, develop, and manage product and service activities from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life (lifecycle management). Apply advanced knowledge ofSalesforce.com at an enterprise level including Sales cloud and service cloud. Work on E2E implementation and platform development. Oversee the development of new product ideas including the study and evaluation of potential product idea practicality. Coordinate the initial stages of new product development and the modification and design change of existing product lines. Interface with teams to develop new products and enhance existing products and product lines. Act as a technical advisor for specific products assigned. Perform initial product assessments and define product designs for new and enhanced products. Prototype new and enhanced product user interfaces and base technology. Develop new product business cases and test and certify processes. Determine product design alternatives and communicate market impact implications. Retire legacy sales tools to drive a unified vision of sales and realize converged product offerings. Drive Agile development, adhere to SOX controls, and implement best practices for the software development lifecycle. Oversee both domestic and global developers. Supervise two (2) Director Technology Product Management and two (2) Director of Technology.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation applying advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com at an enterprise level including Sales cloud and service cloud; working on E2E implementation and platform development; performing initial product assessments and defining product designs for new and enhanced products; prototyping new and enhanced product user interfaces and base technology; developing new product business cases and testing and certifying processes; and driving Agile development, adhering to SOX controls, and implementing best practices for the software development lifecycle.
