Are you a certified SPED teacher looking for additional flexibility in your schedule? VocoVision is working with schools to schedule interviews for a fully remote special education teacher. With VocoVision, you will be treated as an independent 1099 contractor, meaning youÂll have flexibility in your personal schedule and finances to provide remote services. Whether itÂs lightening your commute, focusing on family, or any other reason, please see below for additional details.
Position Details
 Contract: 1099 independent contracting structure
 Hours: Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time
 Platform: We work with Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
 Rate: $28-35/hour, depending on experience
Start and End Dates: ASAP to End of School Year
 We can also look for opportunities for '25-'26 as well!
School Hours: 8:00 to 3:30 PM local time
Requirements
 Degree: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related degrees (preferred Master's Degree in Special Education)
 Certification: South Carolina state certification for Special Education
 Experience: Past SPED teaching experience, with remote experience preferred
 Set Up: Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection, capable of running Zoom or Microsoft Teams
Requirements
 Provide synchronous online instruction for students with IEPs.
 Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
 Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
 Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs.
 Facilitate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
For any positions with VocoVision, you must be comfortable with working as an independent contractor! This means, you will be paid in full for any hours worked. You will be compensated for 100% of the time you work, including both direct time with students and indirect planning periods & IEP development.
