SEM Analyst

We’re seeking a talented and results-driven SEM Analyst to join our team of marketing experts. If you’re passionate about digital marketing, love optimizing campaigns, and are ready to take your Search Engine Marketing skills to the next level, this is the role for you! Responsibilities: • Execute campaign builds, ad copy launches, and other account management tasks across platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand guidelines. • Perform keyword research and provide detailed breakouts of keyword categories, search volume, and gaps in existing coverage to enhance targeting and campaign performance. • Bid and budget according to performance and pacing goals, monitoring daily spend and adjusting bids to optimize cost-per-click, conversions, and return on ad spend. • Analyze account data to identify trends in performance, propose next steps for A/B tests, and uncover opportunities for overall account growth and efficiency. • Prepare reports in a client-facing format, including high-level recommendations, visualizations, and key performance indicators. • Monitor campaign performance daily using platform-specific dashboards to track KPIs and ensure campaigns meet performance targets. • Conduct competitive analysis to identify competitor strategies, keyword opportunities, and market positioning, providing insights to senior team members. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher required • 6+ months of relevant experience • Excellent written and verbal skills • Introductory experience with Excel / Google Sheets with an interest in data aggregation and analysis • Familiarity with the Google Ads platform • The ability to work under tight deadlines • This remote position is for US-based and Canadian-based candidates only.
