Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated US Accounting Executive with hands-on expertise in MRI accounting software to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of accounting experience, ensuring accurate financial operations and contributing to the efficiency of the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize MRI software for accounting and financial processes.
- Handle accounting tasks under tight deadlines and ensure adherence to management requirements.
- Prepare and upload journal entries while ensuring accuracy.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations, including researching and recording outstanding cash items.
- Generate management reports such as budgets, fixed assets, and other critical financial data.
- Manage intercompany balance reconciliations and prepare month-end closing files.
- Oversee monthly billing and analyze open items, collaborating with relevant departments for resolution.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in MRI software is a must.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and high morale standards.
- Proven experience in offshore accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
- Prior experience in a shared services organization is advantageous.
