It also requires a lot of cross-functional partnership. Dissect complex data and translate it into actionable strategies to help optimize credit underwritingDetermine and optimize user limit assignments, ensuring they are set optimally to balance risk and growth, driving healthy user engagement Play a pivotal role in optimizing the portfolio, managing risk and ensuring the health and profitability of credit offerings Design and implement inclusive credit strategies by leveraging alternative data, expanding credit to more users while managing the risk strategicallyPartner with Machine Learning and Engineering teams on building effective credit risk capabilitiesWhat we look for2-4 years of work experience as a data analyst/data scientist (consumer credit risk management strongly preferred but not required)Curious and passionate to learn new things and think outside the boxExtensive experience with SQL and Python, or other scripting languages. Experience with Spark is a plusAbility to collaborate and influence across different teams in the organizationBase Pay Grade - KEquity Grade - 6Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $140,000 - $190,000 USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $124,000 - $174,000 Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company!
