Akron Radiology, Inc, (ARI)—a private practice of 28+ subspecialty-trained radiologists, 2 PAs, and 2 RAs—is the exclusive radiology provider of Summa Health System in Northeast Ohio.
ARI is the largest private practice in the region and most members live in the Akron and Cleveland areas. Many shifts are remote. Members may concentrate on specialty areas and general diagnostic skills are encouraged.
Except for dedicated breast imagers, all members share in the evening and weekend diagnostic coverage. IRs are paid extra for overnight call coverage.
Overnight diagnostic shifts are performed from our Honolulu, Hawaii office on voluntary, all-expense-paid, two-week shifts. Internal moonlighting is available as well.
ARI currently offers 11 weeks per year plus a day off for covered weekend shifts (about 10-11 per year). Extra weeks off may be purchased as well.
Shareholder track is 12 months for experienced radiologists who enter at full salary and bonus from day one.
New fellows/residents also enter with a generous salary and 12 months to shareholder status.
Total compensation package is over $700k for full-time members plus extra pay for IR call, and voluntary weekend overnight shifts and internal moonlighting.
