AI Content Editor / Proofreader
Position: AI Content Editor / Proofreader Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Compensation: $10 per completed article Commitment: Flexible, remote; project-based Turnaround Time: Articles must be completed within 72 hours of receipt Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative AI Content Editor / Proofreader to refine short articles generated by AI. Each article (approx. 300–400 words) is drafted from a JotForm Q&A submission and/or a business website and requires editing for accuracy, grammar, clarity, and humanized tone. The editor will also provide brief feedback on each assignment to help improve AI prompts and reduce editing needs over time. Responsibilities Review AI-generated articles (300–400 words each) for: Grammatical and spelling accuracy Clarity, flow, and readability Humanized tone (natural, conversational style) Fact-checking against JotForm Q&A responses and the website when applicable Upload finalized articles into our publishing system (N2 platform). Provide short feedback notes on common issues or improvement suggestions. Complete assigned articles within 72 hours of receipt. Qualifications Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and style. Prior editing/proofreading experience preferred. Ability to adjust AI-generated content into natural, engaging writing. Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently. Comfortable working independently as a contractor. Compensation $10 per completed article (includes editing, proofreading, humanizing tone, and system upload). Apply tot his job
