Actuary-Rate Filings (REMOTE) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s insurance client. • Pay Rate: $45-52/hr • REMOTE What You’ll Be Doing: • Lead and support personal lines rate filings (Auto and Umbrella), including direct engagement with state DOIs. • Independently review and provide feedback on rate filings prepared by junior analysts, ensuring actuarial soundness and strategic alignment. • Anticipate and address DOI objections with thoughtful, data-driven responses that support the filing's integrity and business goals. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure filings reflect current trends, regulatory expectations, and competitive positioning. Required: • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related and 4+ years of actuarial or analytical experience, with at least 2 years focused on personal lines rate filings in the United States. • Knowledge of computer programming languages, such as Visual Basic. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Excellent communications skills • CAS, ACAS, or FCAS required What’s In It For You? • This is a unique opportunity to support our client; one of the world's largest insurance agencies.
